SCOTT DUNCAN
- Grew up in the Cairngorms National Park in the Scottish Highlands
- Passionate about culture and heritage and plays the Highland bagpipes, flute & a bit of violin.
- Speaks Gàidhlig as a second language
- Ex-ski racer & qualified ski-instructor
- 1st class master’s degree in Meteorology & Climate from the University of Reading with one year spent in the School of Meteorology at the University of Oklahoma.
- Coder (mainly in python)
- Developed and co-owned a popular weather forecast website called WXCHARTS, which has since been sold to a private weather company.
- Worked in numerous industries as a professional meteorologist
- Communicates weather and climate events through graphics on social media and public speaking
